Cannot Edit Thumbnails

  • I haven’t been able to edit/customize my thumbnails for about a month now. There is no way to select the image. Please see screenshot here.

    Checking on our setup, the selection of thumbnail works fine, and it crops on the chosen area. Please check the screenshot here.

    Could you please clear your image cache under?NextGEN?Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous?and check if it helps you or not!

    Hello,

    Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately this did not solve the problem. I also tried in 2 different browsers and am still experiencing the same exact issues with thumbnail customization.

    Could you please download a fresh copy of the NextGen Gallery and, then replace the one from your site’s?Dashboard > Plugins > Add new plugin > Upload plugin > Choose File?(with the files’ override when being asked) to see if that’ll fix the issue?

    Re-installing NextGen Gallery wouldn’t affect your existing galleries.

    I have over 1500 galleries so I’m really hesitant to mess with the plugin… are you certain it won’t affect my current content?

    Hi @thedrewseum,

    Basically, removing the NextGEN Gallery and adding the new one doesn’t affect the existing galleries.

    However, if you think of not doing so on the live site, please create a staging site (you can contact the hosting service provider) and then make the changes. If everything goes as expected, it can be done on the live site.
