Cannot edit Text Widgets in Primary Sidebar

    When I click on the arrows next to the Text Widget , it does not open and I can not edit / change the code.

    This is happening on all of the pages that I use this plugin.

    Just updated to 4.8 WordPress yesterday.

    Please advise.

    Yeah will check with latest WP.

    I’ve experienced this as well on a Woocommerce site.

    @shawnlimbach which WordPress and WooCommerce version are you using?

    WordPress was just updated yesterday 4.8 and apparently Woocommerce was updated as well to 3.0.8. Sorry, I just realized that I’m on a Plugin support page. My message probably should not be here. I’m referring to the default Text Widget that comes with WP.

    Okay, you can confirm the issue if you disable our plugin and it works or not? If with our plugin enabled and the problem exists, while our plugin disabled and the problem does not exist then we need to fix.

    After WP 4.8 updated, plugin is now work. Screen:

    Same here as @jjanicik describes. After the wordpress 4.8 update I can not change the text. Or to be more correct I can not see the text anymore.

    Any idea of when the issue with seeing/editing the text might be resolved?

    I’m seeing similar issues with text, audio and video widgets after a 4.8 upgrade. These all work fine with this plugin disabled, and even when enabled the widgets work fine on the Appearance -> Widgets page – they only display the broken behavior when editing a Post or Page.

    I have this problem too i am afraid to lose all what i do

    Same here… Since WP 4.8 the plugin doesnt work on page edit (in primary sidebar the widget is okay).

    There was some changes with Text/Image/Video widgets in WP 4.8 and we have fixed our plugin to compatible with WP 4.8. Please download the latest version (3.3) and try again. Thanks for all your feedback!

    Hey.
    I updated the plugin to version 3.4, but the problem remained. I can not edit the text in the sidebar posts. When the plugin is enabled the other plugins also do not work, but if the plugin widget is turned off – everything is in order.
    Version plugin 3.4
    WP Version 4.8
