Cannot edit products

    Hallo,
    after updating WP and all plugins I can’t edit products. Quick edit works fine. I followed the earlier recommendation to switch the theme to storefront and disable all plugins. Still the issue not solved. Normally I use the theme Leto.

    Would you mind providing more info and tell us exactly what happens when you try to edit products? If you think a screenshot could help us please use snipboard.io following the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

    Also, let’s see if there is an error on the WooCommerce Logs. Kindly provide us the following:

    • System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    • Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).
    • Console tab: Right-click on the page or press F12 on the keyboard and select “Inspect” (this option will show up on most browsers). In the developer tools that will pop up you should see a “Console” tab. From there, please send us a screenshot of what’s being displayed using a tool like snipboard.io.

    Hi Mirko,

    Thanks for your reply. When trying to enter the edit function only the product name is visible. The text box flashes quickly as if it tried to open and then nothing is shown. Product data is not shown and none of the functions is available.

    Thanks for sharing your System Status and logs.

    What happens if you clear the browser cache? It looks like you’re using Google Chrome, so can you check if you’re able to edit products using a different browser? Ideally, you’d want to follow these steps:

    – Go to https://www.whatismybrowser.com, and check if your web browser is running the updated/latest version;
    – Clear your browser cache;
    – Clear cookies;
    – Use another web browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge);

    Let us know how that goes.

    Hi Mirko,

    thanks for your efforts. In the meantime all used plug-ins provided new updates and after installing them the error was gone.
