    Hi,
I am trying to update my productdata (e.g. price) for an existing single product. However this is not working. No productdata field is being updated, however the title or description can be changed.
When trying to edit productdata for an existing variable product it seems to be working, however not for a newly created variable product.

For error tracing I already deactivted all plugins. Still the same situation. Checking the woocommerce log I found a Log entry caused by a plugin (but as mentioned, all plugings except WooCommerce are deactivated).

It would be great to get some help on this topic!

    Kind Regards,
    Jens

I just checked the console information in the browser. When clicking on update of the page, on result is about the meta-box-loader (see below).

    …./post.php?post=11681&action=edit&meta-box-loader=1&meta-box-loader-nonce=3fe8b473e7&_locale=user 403 (Forbidden)

    Hi there @jens84,

I understand you’re unable to update product data for an existing single product, but you’re able to edit the title or description.

Firstly, I’d suggest clearing your browser cache or trying a different browser to rule out any browser-related issues.

If the issue persists, it could be due to a conflict with your theme or plugins. To rule this out, please temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Four or Storefront and see if you’re able to update the product data. You can find further details on running a conflict test here.

Regarding the log entry caused by a plugin, even though all plugins (except WooCommerce) are deactivated, it’s possible the log entry is from a previous instance when the plugin was active.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi,
thanks for the first hints. I tried different browsers and incognito mode – no change here.

When I changed the theme to twenty twenty-four and tried to update something in my product I get the following error message:

    Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access this resource.

That is weird. I am logged in as an administrator.

    Kind Regards

    HI again @jens84,

Thanks for sharing further details on this.

I understand you were able to switch your theme to TT4 but the issue persists. Could you try switching to Storefront and checking if the same happens?
