Cannot edit pages with Pagelayer

  • Hello,

    I purchased and loaded this product about a months ago. I love the potential flexibility, but it is not intuitive, and the online help and YouTube videos are sorely lacking.

    My issue is it seems PageLayer will edit my templates but I cannot edit pages. I try to pull a widget over and nothing happens.

    All plug-ins have been checked (the WordPress version of unplugging and plugging back in, it seems). The program is relatively pristine, not much has been added yet. I have tried other themes, same.

    Thoughts?
