    Hello,

If I want to edit a page in Elementor, I only see a white page.

I have deactivated all plugins except Elementor. And then I get this error report from WordPress.

Ein Fehler vom Typ E_ERROR wurde in der Zeile 111 der Datei /.../htdocs/wp-content/plugins/elementor/core/editor/loader/common/editor-common-scripts-settings.php verursacht. Can I change anything about it? Or is it more of an Elementor problem?

I have never had a problem like this before! The website works without any problems though! The problem only occurs when a page is to be edited with Elementor.

    Greetings – Jang

    Hello,

I traced the versions back to Elementor.

Editing a page works up to version 3.24.0. After that, editing is no longer possible :-/

    Hi, @wpapm.

Thanks for reaching out to us, and I’m sorry to hear you’re encountering issues after the update. In addition to plugin conflicts, there are other reasons this may be occurring (such as exhausted memory or a conflict with the theme).

Please reference the following article for troubleshooting steps (you can skip the deactivation of plugins since you have already done this…just be sure you have deactivated ALL plugins, except for Elementor):

    https://elementor.com/help/having-problems-using-elementor/

If the troubleshooting steps don’t help, please provide a link to the site.

    Kind Regards.

I have the same issue on some sites. Rolling back to 3.25 fixes the issues. All websites have ample php memory on powerful servers.

    Hi @devsc2768,

    Oh … I’m not alone ??

But I have to correct myself. Everything works perfectly up to v3.23.4, but from v3.24.0 onwards you cannot edit with Elementor.

    Hi @aracelil ,

    Thanks for the feedback.

I copied the website and updated it to the latest version (WP 6.7.1). All plugins are also up to date, except for Elementor (it says v3.23.4). I can make my changes via Elementor without any problems.

If I now update Elementor to v3.24.0 or higher versions), editing via Elementor is no longer possible… blank page.

But if I look at the source code of the page… <head> is not closed! The last entries in the open head area come from tinymcy. Of course, no view of the page can then be created ??

Even changing the theme doesn’t change anything, Hello Elementor reacts in the same way and doesn’t close the header!

I will deactivate all plugins later and report whether there is an improvement… but I doubt it ?? I hope I’m wrong though ??

Good day to everyone, kind regards

    Hi,

OK, now all plugins are deactivated … and WordPress sends me this email:

WordPress hat eine eingebaute Funktion, die erkennt, wenn ein Plugin oder ein Theme einen fatalen Fehler auf deiner Website verursacht, und dich deswegen mit dieser automatisierten E-Mail benachrichtigt. In diesem Fall hat WordPress einen Fehler in einem deiner Plugins, Elementor, abgefangen.”

Well, I had already suspected that ??

Now I should check whether there are any visible problems on the page … which I had already noticed myself (source code of the page delivered by Elemontor … WITHOUT a closing header).

I think my static site created by Hugo will be better for the future … unfortunately it is not quite finished yet.

I am freezing the site at its current state of v 3.23.4, since I can still work with it,

    Regards

    Hi @aracelil ,

In the meantime, I have managed to solve the problem, however. Anyway, I can work with all Pflugins and the current Elementor again. For now ??

I used the save mode… and was able to work. So it must be a plugin. After that, I radically deactivated all plugins and activated them again.

They look good on the copy of the website. I hope to be able to implement this productively.

The only question is why WP tells me Elementor is the source of the error… but that probably wasn’t the case, since the site was running in safe mode!

I’ll mark my question as solved later if everything else goes smoothly.

Thanks for the attention and Elementor probably wasn’t the problem!

    Regards
