• I haven’t been working on my site for awhile and after reinstalling the OS wanted to redo the site and load Captcha plug in. Went to edit from the site and went to dashboard… No Plug In tab. Looked all over here, no answer, same problem but no solution and all the posts were closed. Tried Google, also. Found the exact problem but didn’t help. Made sure I was logged as Admin (xxxx.com/wp-admin). Nothing changed. I’m thinking about deleting and starting over, but like reformatting it doesn’t take long to wish you hadn’t. Not even sure if reinstalling would do it. Really could use a hand on this. I ended up posting at WordPress.com. I’ve had the website for a number of years and have always had the ability to install plug ins, edit side bars, etc. Did someone change my site to a blog?
    Very confused.

Are you referring to https://www.skoville.com/ ? If so, that’s not a WordPress.com site, and you should be able to use plugin.

You noted here that you’re running WordPress 3.7.1. Would you please try upgrading to 3.9.1 first?
