cannot edit media in 2012 theme

    I cannot edit photos and other images (like my logo) that I add through Add Media in my posts. I click on the photo or image; the edit box appears and then immediately goes away. I cannot get it to stay so that I can edit the photo or image. Also, sometimes when I click the photo or image to edit, the page jumps down, and I still cannot edit it.

    I have updated to the latest version of the 2012 theme. The problem still exists.

    How do I fix this problem? Is this a bug?

    I checked old posts today. The same problems occur, and I cannot edit any of the photos or images in these posts. So none of my photos or images can be edited.

    Hi Sharen,

    It’s recommended testing for a plugin conflict by deactivating all the third party plugins on your site, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can specify which one by reactivating them one at a time.

    Please also ensure to use the latest version of the theme.
