Cannot edit in the backend, only blank space under “Details”

    When I tried to create a new book, I discovered that I cannot edit in the backend. There is only blank space under the “Details” where normally there would be fields to upload the PDF etc. I am using the AVADA theme, running everything up-to-date. I had thought it might be WP Rocket blocking the rendering of the backend editor, so I deactivated WP Rocket and still there was the blank space under the “Details” segment

    Could you please tell me what is the solution?

    I used another browser. I am running macOS, and was using Chrome. When I logged in with Safari, the fields and info to create a new book were available. I am sure that if I flushed my caches, or even went so far as to reset Chrome, it would work there.
