Cannot Edit Homepage with Elementor

Not sure if this is a reoccurring issue, but I’m having a lot of trouble with accessing & editing my Color Mag Pro homepage via elementor, it has the “the_content” function issue.

I would like to add the “the_content” function to my homepage so I can further edit with Elementor. I have been looking through all support forums to no avail.

If I’m not able to actually edit the homepage with elementor, what are the ways I can further add more to my homepages that isn’t already provided?
