    Hello,

I cannot figure out to edit my booking form on my event pages.

    This link https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/set-up-event-bookings/
does not help because I cannot for the life of me find the “Templates/Formats” it is talking about.

Currently there is somewhat of a bookings form on the event pages that only displaces “Spaces” and “Comments”. I don’t want either of these things but would like to add “Name”, “email” etc however I cannot find in the settings where these two things are to edit them.

So I cannot create my own bookings from and the form that is already there is nowhere to be found to be edited…

Can somebody please help me? I’ve been trying to do this for hours. This is honestly the most frustrating extension I have ever had to use.

    Thank you.

  • EM User here ??

Editing booking forms is an Events Manager Pro feature, as are many great other features.

And the “”Templates/Formats” are to be found: Events -> Settings -> Formatting -> Events -> Single Event Page.

Okay, since you have not checked your settings:
You only see spaces and comment on your booking form, because you are logged into WordPress and you selected the settings “do not show profile fields to logged-in users”.

Log out of WordPress, reload your events page and you will see the full default booking form. OR, change your EM settings to show the profile fields to logged-in users.

With the pro version you can add as many fields to the booking form as you want; even create multiple, different booking forms. But “Spaces”, “Name” and “Email” are always required.

    Thank you for your response.

Am I able to change the names of these fields without the pro version? I just want to translate the field names into French.

Under what tab is the option to not display the form to logged on users? I can’t find it.

Yes, but if you put you blog in French, it will be translated automatically.
    WordPress native function.

The display user field options appear to be a pro feature as well. I had to deactivate my pro version to notice that that option disappeared. So I understand your confusion.

Ah okay, I want to keep the admin part of the site in English so I don’t think I can change the site to French.

Yes, that was very confusing. I think the problem is a lot of the documentation is for the pro version but it doesn’t specify so I have been very confused as to why I can’t find certain functions.

You’ve helped me more than the documentation/FAQs on the EM website! Thanks so much!

Yes you can. There is a plugin for that. Google it. ??

I am running a MultiSite installation. My English version has a different domain name than my Dutch, but basically the same website. I am using MultiSite Language Switcher to connect the posts, pages and events. And that plugin also allows to to set a different admin language than the blog.
I doubt of that particular plugin works on a normal installation though…

Thanks so much! I’ll look into that!
