I want to edit the copyright line in my footer, but I can’t find this line anywhere. It’s not in Widgets, and it’s not in Appearance > Customize > Footer Builder (Astra theme, with Astra Pro and Spectra). If I can’t bring the line up, I can’t edit it. I’ve been searching for this line for hours. I’d appreciate any help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thank you for your response.
I don’t see how to get to the page shown in your screenshot. When I go to the Customizing sidebar, there are various choices (starting with Global, Header Builder, and so on), but Copyright isn’t one of them. One of the choices is Footer Builder, but when I select that, nothing related to Copyright comes up. The page in your screenshot seems like the one I need, but I don’t see how to get it to come up.

    Hi @peabody68,

I made a rough video. Hope it will help better than the screenshot I did previously.

Please let us know how you go.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Herman,
Thank you for your response. I appreciate your efforts on this.
I went into Customize, then Footer Builder, then Copyright, as your video showed. I typed the copyright line the way I want it to read. See the sidebar section of Screenshot #1. As you can see, all I’m trying to do is change a single digit (from 2018-2023, as shown in the center section of the screenshot, to 2018-2024). I want to keep everything else the same. Afterward, I clicked Publish, and the program went through its usual routine, meaning it had been published. I then emptied the cache.
But when I went back into my website, nothing had changed. See Screenshot #2. It’s still showing 2018-2023 rather than 2018-2024.
I’ve done the same copyright update every year, and never had any problem with it, but this year I can’t get it to work. If I could get into an edit screen that showed the current copyright line, all I would need to do would be to change the 3 to a 4. But I can’t find that line anywhere, and all my attempts to override it with an updated line have no effect. The line with 2023 in it seems set in stone.
Thank you again for your efforts.

    Hi @peabody68,

Thanks for sharing the screenshots. I can completely understand you now.

Well, I went to your site again and noticed that the Footer is actually a custom one created using Site Builder. You will need to edit it from there.

Further, Site Builder is a feature that is coming from the Astra Pro plugin. Since discussing anything related to the pro version is not allowed in this forum, as mentioned in the Forum Guidelines, please reach out to us thru our Support Portal and mark this topic as Resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

Thank you again, Herman. I’m glad you were able to find where the copyright line is coming from. I am marking this as resolved.

No problem. Happy can be a help! ??

Feel free to start a new thread if there’s anything else related to Astra, we can help you with.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
