`Cannot edit

  • I cannot edit anything. page freezes up after attempting to add a link. I am very limited in knowledge here, soI need things dummied down to beginner mode. I ran updates and then this happened. I need step by step instructions on how to troubleshoot this thing, please.

    Never Mind. I had a conflict with my Yoast plug-in. I deactivated it and all is well as far as being able to edit the sight.
