Cannot Download or Play Podcast via Player

  • I upgraded to 8.8.10.11 tonight and immediately began having problems. (The website was functioning fine until the upgrade to Podpress.)

    First, when clicking on the Play button in the player I get “Buffering” and nothing ever plays.

    Second, when I click on the download link from Podpress for the mp3 file I get this message
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function printphpnotices_var_dump() in /home/allabo11/public_html/wp-content/plugins/podpress/podpress_functions.php on line 2272

    FYI – I am using the blubrry stats service and have been all year with no problem.

    Please let me know how to roll back to 8.8.10.10 if this cannot be quickly fixed.

  • This is happening to me as well. None of my podcasts play in the mobile version nor can be downloaded from iTunes. They play while clicking on the player, but none of the other links. I am getting the same error (with my server info)

    Thank you both for reporting this problem. It is totally my mistake. I have forgotten to take out some calls to a debug function.
    I’m totally sorry for this!

    8.8.10.12 should solve this. (It will be available on the web site in 10-15 minutes).
