Cannot Display This Gallery

    Hi,

    I have a client that was adding a new gallery to their portfolio page. After adding one gallery and coming back the day after they aren’t able to see 90% of their other older galleries. There’s just a message saying “We cannot display this gallery” in the spot where the thumbnails should be. I’ve tried the reset plugin and clearing the image cache and it did not change anything.

    Please Help! Thanks

    @jamalpress – I’m not certain I am understanding what the specific issue is, did you client insert a display, everything was fine, then the following day it was not?

    This would strike me as some sort of external effect from a caching plugin or perhaps another active plugin was updated? Do you have any more details to offer? A link to a URL where the inserted display is no longer being rendered as expected may be helpful as well.

    Sorry I don’t have a lot of information but the person responsible for adding new galleries said that she added one the day before. When she came back most of the galleries weren’t displayed on the above page. I’ve tried to check the shortcodes to see if there are any differences between the ones that are showing and the ones that aren’t but I don’t see any.

    @jamalpress – I randomly checked several galleries on the page you provided and all appear to be working correctly although I do not recognize the Lightbox Effect being used and as such there could be something creating a problem somewhere that we are not seeing.

    Can you reference any specific gallery that is still not working as expected?

    So after doing some more investigating it looks like the nonbreaking space entity was added to a few of the galleries’ shortcodes. After removing those everything works as it should.
