Cannot dismiss notification

    “Thanks for installing NextGEN Gallery! Want help creating your first gallery? Launch the Gallery Wizard. If you close this message, you can also launch the Gallery Wizard at any time from the NextGEN Overview page.”

    Clicking Dismiss on this notification takes a few seconds then gives a page alert saying

    “page.com says
    undefined”

    Ummm seriously?

    When you hit the AJAX route directly you get

    error: No handler defined for this notice.

    Hi @calder12,

    I am sorry to hear of the encountered issue. This sounds like a side effect of a JS conflict. I hope that you wouldn’t mind to temporarily deactivate all the plugins excepting NextGen then try to dismiss the notice again.

    I have 4 other plugins installed, all of them critical. I just uninstalled NextGen instead. Thanks though.

    I have the same issue, after about ten seconds I get a js alert ‘undefined’

    No errors seen in the console

    Same here … deactivated all other plugins – still can’t get rid of the NextGen message … really annoying. Since no solution seems to be available … I think I’ll as well uninstall the Gallery instead …

    I want to invite you to open a new thread separately.
    In that way, we can check if the environment and conditions. It’s difficult to troubleshoot different sites, settings and plugins in the same ticket.

    I was having the same problem. I ended up just going through the tutorial. It took about 30 seconds. Now the message is gone.
