Had to use ftp to disable the plugin because clicking disable from the plugins page does nothing but give me a 500 error each time. Additionally, it forces you to give mandatory feedback as to why you’re disabling which rubs me wrong in general. Maybe make that part optional instead of making it a gateway for the actions a user is trying to take?!

You’ve been somewhat responsive here with my other questions so I thought I’d try posting the problem here first instead of just taking my frustrations out on the reviews.

    Hi @patrickhs

Thanks a lot for reporting this. Our plugin never makes it mandatory to get a feedback.

    Please see attached screenshot:

You can always click on Skip&Deactivate button.

Regarding the issue you are having disabling the plugin, are you able to share with me some screenshot please?

I tried again and the only thing I get is a generic white page with “500 internal server error” when I try to deactivate. Once I ftp and change the directory name for the plugin and reload the page then of course the plugin shows inactive but that is the only way I can deactivate it. I checked the logs to see if there were ay helpful entries but I found nothing related.

I apologize for the trouble you’re facing, @patrickhs.

I attempted to install the plugin on several websites, deactivating them afterward without encountering any problems.

I’m wondering if it’s possible that you altered the plugin folders or changed any permissions?

Additionally, I came across a comparable issue to what you’re experiencing. Could it be that you’re using WPML?

It’s possible that a conflict exists between my plugin and another plugin you have installed and I would like to find out what that is.

    Hi @patrickhs

Is this issue resolved? Can we closed this topic?
