Cannot Disable FB Messenger

  • I have spent hours googling this topic. I CANNOT find a way to remove the Facebook Messenger icon and function from my website. I have tried reinstalling and uninstalling every version of the Facebook and Messenger plugins, changing code, and contacting Facebook support directly. I cannot find the code for it anywhere in my site and therefore, cannot delete it.
