Cannot disable double opt-in for MailChimp sign-up form

    I would like to disable the double opt-in confirmation email with a MailChimp sign-up form. The form works fine if the user confirms the registration in the confirmation email. I would like to disable this email so the form info goes directly into the MailChimp database.

    I have tried MailChimp for WP > Integrations > Custom and clicking “No” for Double opt-in. It seems to have no effect.

    Is there someone where else that the double opt-in email is turned off?

    The form I noticed in your footer is not a custom integration, it’s a normal form.

    You can set the opt-in for that via MailChimp for WP > Form > Settings.
