cannot delete events

What’s the exact error message you see when trying to delete?

Are you the site admin? If not, it’s possible your account doesn’t have the necessary user_capabilities to delete events.

Appreciate your response. Strange, I am now able to delete events in dashboard but they keep appearing in the calendar.

Are you using any caching plugins? Perhaps you are seeing a cached version of the pages?

and I am not able to find in the dashboard where it is.

If you can’t see it under Events > Events you may need to change the filter from Future events to All events because the date on the event has no passed.
