• Hi,
I ran into issue using the plugin with multiple languages and I decided it’s best to remove it, but it seems like the the plugin can’t be removed.

I deactivated the plugin, age verification was still required when I visit the website.
I even deleted the plugin and the age verification was still required, the links on yes/no are broken, so you cannot enter the website.

The glitch happens every time some one vists the website for the first time.

Any idea on how to fix this?

    Thanks

    Hi @vcbh,

This will be a caching issue most likely. If you have a cache plugin or a cache on your server you’ll probably need to clear it as it will have stored everything.

Side note, what was the issue with multiple languages?

Let me know if that works too.

    Thanks
    Phil

    Hi Phil,

    Thanks for your response.
I deleted the website cache and the same problem happens
    I don’t think I have cache plugins

    Hi @vcbh,

It could be happening on the server with your hosting provider.

I can access the Age Gate css which if you’ve removed the plugin should not exist. It give me a 304 server response which is unchanged/cached file. Here’s some info on that code.

If you are on a VPS that should help, otherwise you might have an option if you log into the hosting provider to clear the cache.

    Thanks
    Phil

    How can I fix it?

As this appears to be happening at server level rather than application level it is something that you will need to resolve there, it’s not an issue with the plugin itself.

If there is a control panel for the hosting provider, log in to that. If not you’ll need to speak to the systems administrator via their support channels.

When I check now though, it seems to have gone so if you didn’t do anything it looks like that cache has naturally become stale and fixed itself!

    Thanks
    Phil

    Hi Phil,
The issue went away after I contacted my hosting provider.
    Thanks for your help.
