Cannot deactivate Easy PayPal Shopping Cart Pro

    I installed Easy PayPal Shopping Cart Pro Version 1.3.9?and I am unable to deactivate it:

    There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    No email is sent and I do not know how to proceed.

    Same problem with the non-Pro version. Can’t deactiveate it, can’t delete it. How do we get rid of this?

    I resolved this on my own by removing the folder plugins/paypal-subscriptions-memberships-pro. I’m sure there are orphan database tables, but I can live with them for now.
