Cannot customize theme – Colorway

  • Hello. I am currently using the theme Colorway on my WordPress website. Whenever I want to customize my site I get the following error message:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sanitize_hex_color() (previously declared in /home/sis/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-social-media-icons/libs/controllers/sfsi_buttons_controller.php:841) in /home/sis/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-manager.php on line 2087

    The website works fine when I disable the plug-in: “Ultimate-socia-media-icons. is this something that could be looked into? I would hate to have to find another social media plug-in, or having to disable it.
