Cannot Create or Edit any post or page

  • I have 4 websites. 2 of them I cannot create or edit any page or post. One is using elementor and the other one Astra. My other 2 sites are ok, elementor and spectra. Whenever I click on add new post/page, I get a blank page – nothing – no menu whatsover. I tried it in Chrome and Firefox and I get the same issue. They are all updated. What should I do? TIA

    1. Check for Plugin Conflicts

    • Deactivate All Plugins: Temporarily deactivate all plugins on the sites where you’re facing issues (except for Elementor and Spectra if needed). This will help identify if a plugin is causing the problem. After deactivating, try creating a new post/page again.
    • Reactivate Plugins One by One: If the issue resolves after deactivating plugins, reactivate them one by one to see which one is causing the conflict.

    2. Switch to Default WordPress Theme

    • Temporarily Switch Theme: If the issue persists, try switching the theme to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Twenty-One or Twenty Twenty-Three. Sometimes themes can cause issues with the WordPress editor.
      • Go to Appearance > Themes and activate a default theme.
      • Then, check if you can add a new post/page.
