  • Hi wooassist,

We have tried to replicate the issue at hand but for us creating a Facebook catalogue feed works just fine nor does the error message you are seeing in your logs seems related to our plugin.

Are you sure there are no other errors in your WooCommerce or WordPress error logs?

    Best,
    Eva

    Hi Eva,

We also contacted Siteground support and they found a new error with the plugin. Please see the message below.

Warning: simplexml_load_file(/home/koffeekl/public_html/store/wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/xml/fyGLGSZkrHt3UkJMihXPXLLvuiSfMQR6_tmp.xml): failed to open stream: Too many open files in /home/koffeekl/public_html/store/wp-content/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/classes/class-get-products.php on line 971

Warning: require_once(/home/koffeekl/public_html/store/wp-content/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/pages/admin/woosea-manage-feed.php): failed to open stream: Too many open files in /home/koffeekl/public_html/store/wp-includes/template.php on line 722

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/koffeekl/public_html/store/wp-content/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro//pages/admin/woosea-manage-feed.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php71/pear’) in /home/koffeekl/public_html/store/wp-includes/template.php on line 722

It appears that the plugin is unable to open a temporary XML file for the newly generated feed, leading to this issue.

    Thanks,
    WooAssist

    Hi wooassist,

Those errors are the result of something not being able to create the tmp files in the first place. The errors itself are not the cause but the result.

Have you tried de-activating and re-activating the plugin and created a new feed?

    Best,
    Eva

    Hi Eva,

Yes, we’ve tried to remove the plugin and tried reinstalling it and create a new feed but we still get this error https://prnt.sc/q1lxxi
