Cannot create custom sidebars or select "Allow this sidebar to be…"

  • This is what I get in JS Console when I try to create a sidebar:

    I also cannot check “Allow this sidebar to be replaced.” It just unchecks itself a couple seconds later.

    If I switch to version 2.0.9, I can create new sidebars, but cannot check “Allow this sidebar to be replaced,” so I’m not able to use the sidebars created.

    Switching to 2.0.1 resolved my issue. Would still like to update the plugin in the future though.

    Hi @garl,

    Glad you were able to get it working with that previous version. We actually guarantee it works with the latest WordPress version though we can’t feasibly guarantee the same with prior versions.

    If that prior version of the plugin works for you though, that’s great. Updating WordPress itself should sort out any conflict with the most recent version.
