Cannot create child theme

  • Hi,
    Currently developing on localhost WAMP server with WordPress 4.0. I am using Hathor Version: 1.5. I created a child theme in themes folder. In wp-admin, I activated the child theme. When I went to my website, all I get is a blank white screen. All I have in my child theme is style.css and a comment section. I removed this line to test the child theme.
    @import url(‘../hathor/style.css’);
    How can I make a child theme work with your Hathor theme?
