I have tried to use this plugin, however I get ‘An error has occured. Please try again’ message. Steps I have followed are:

    1. Installed Plugin
    2. Opened the ‘Creative Mail’ menu
    3. On the initial splash-screen, selected ‘I Agree and let’s get started’
    4. On the ‘Please create your account’ page, select the Google account option
    5. From the list of accounts, selected the email account I would like to register under ([email protected])
    6. error message occurs.

    I have even tried:
    a. the option to login instead of creating an account, same issue.
    b. enabling troubleshooting mode which disables all plugins and themes except yours, under which the same issue to occur.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out.
We took a look and it seems that there is an issue with your WordPress site that is preventing Creative Mail from communicating with your sites API.

When trying to access the following URL, we are getting an error (503 Service Unavailable):

    https://underappreciatedparent.com/?rest_route=/creativemail/v1/callback

We have left out headers and keys from the above URL, so it should return a 401 error instead.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me. I appologies but yesterday a backup failed which resulted in the site being down for some time.

I’ve just followed the URL you detailed above and I get the following error:
    {“code”:”rest_no_route”,”message”:”No route was found matching the URL and request method.”,”data”:{“status”:404}}

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back to us.
We can see and validate that the plugin is active, and that all the REST routes are registered: https://underappreciatedparent.com/wp-json

In you WP Admin, could you hover over the CreativeMail left side nav menu item, and click “Settings”

On the settings page, there is either an option to “Unlink” or “Reset” the plugin. Could you click that button, and try to activate creative mail again?

If you are still getting the error, that will allow us the get a more up to date error message and get back to you with the error details.

    Hi
    Thanks for looking into this.

I’ve followed the instructions you have provided, there was no ‘unlink’ option, only reset. I’ve clicked that and then tried to register, but the same issue as I originally reported still occurs.

I’d appreciate any further help you can provide.
