I’m trying to connect Facebook Pixel via Facebook for WooCommerce 3.3.5.
Everything on Facebook sites works fine and it tells me I successfully connected, but when I get redirected to my site, I see the following:
Heads up!?It looks like there was a problem with reconnecting your site to Facebook. Please?click here?to try again, or?get in touch with our support team?for assistance.
Within the details of the Connection I can only see Page ID, but nothing else.

Hello, and thank you for reaching out.

Could you share a screenshot of the error, as well as your site’s system status report to help us troubleshoot the issue further?

    Kind regards,
    Marija

Since I couldn’t post any pictures, I added all the information to this doc:

Hello and thank you for sending the system status report.

Upon reviewing it we noticed that you are using WP Fastest Cache, and PixelYourSite plugins.

Cache plugins and different Pixel integrations could interfere with the connection; could you disable them temporarily and try reconnecting the plugin?

    Kind regards,
    Marija

    Hi, thanks for you answer.
I disabled both, but it’s still exactly the same behavior.

    Hello Moritz,

There was an update released recently, could you update the plugin to the newest version, and then reconnect it? To ensure there’s no old data causing issues, you can also go to?:

WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Facebook: Reset connection settings

If you are still not able to connect to the plugin, please enable and send us the site’s debug.log

    Kind Regards,
    Marija

    Hi Marija,
here is the only part about facebook plugin from debug.log
[22-Feb-2025 10:02:05 UTC] PHP Deprecated: WC_Facebookcommerce_Integration::create_product_simple(): Implicitly marking parameter $fb_product_group_id as nullable is deprecated, the explicit nullable type must be used instead in /www/htdocs/w01827da/sanapta.de/wp-content/plugins/facebook-for-woocommerce/facebook-commerce.php on line 1238

Hi @kabutor, thanks for sharing the log. We have sent the nullable type notice to the dev team and it will be resolved in one of the upcoming updates.

But, as that isn’t causing the issue, can you also check your WooCommerce logs at: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-status&tab=logs&source=facebook_for_woocommerce&paged=1? It should contain entries related to the plugin actions. If it does not, can you make another connection attempt and check the logs section in the admin, please?

    Best,
    Marko

    Hi Moritz,

It is possible that there is an issue with the way your business assets (Ad Account / Business Manager / etc) are set up on FB.

Can you try connecting the plugin using a different account?

It still needs to have full access to all of the assets in order for the connection to be successful.

Please let us know if you are able to connect the plugin.

    Kind regards,
    Marija

Might be possible, I have no idea.
Also don’t know how I should use a different user account, since it is not possible to have multiple Facebook accounts.

    Hello,

You can create a temporary new account using a different e-mail address.

Once you have created it, you can use your original account to assign all the necessary assets.

If you are then able to connect the plugin using the new account, you can reach out to?Meta support?directly, so that they can look into your account.

    Kind regards,
    Marija

    Hi Marija,

I tried it out, same behavior as before:
    https://www.loom.com/share/1ce4a3852e924de2aaed63a640a5001f
Btw. I already tried a ticket at Meta Support and received the feedback that the issue is WooCommerce related.
    Any other ideas?

    Best,
    Moritz

    Hi Moritz,

I am jumping in for Marija briefly.

Thank you for sharing the video! Appreciate it.

We have noticed that you toggled off some options on the page (Show a list of the Pages you manage,?Read content posted on the Page) — that is OK in general but can cause problems in rare cases.

Please refer to the?official guide for setting up the plugin.

You have surely done this but we have to mention it: please make sure that you have the necessary permissions for all of the necessary assets. ??

    Best,
    Marko
