Cannot Connect to WP.com and WP.org

Hi,

We have a problem with our client’s site. It was migrated from one server to another and somehow the site cannot connect to any wordpress site (.com or .org) to install new themes and plugins and even connect Jetpack.

We already tried deleting everything except for the wp-content, with all plugins deactivated but nothing works.

We placed another wordpress in a subfolder with a clone of the site’s wp-content and database in another database table prefix. This new wordpress has no problem.

We are lost at where will we troubleshoot this problem.
