• I encountered an error in which the system said:
Cannot connect to QuickLaTeX server: Failed to connect to https://www.quicklatex.com port 80: Connection timed out
Please make sure your server/PHP settings allow HTTP requests to external resources (“allow_url_fopen”, etc.)

    I don’t know what happen. I think I don’t do anything wrong.
This happened after I paid for my one-year hosting.
I have read the same thread and it seems that my IP is blocked by the server. Please exclude it.
I have used this plugin for one year and I enjoyed it very much.

Error message includes all the details:
“Please make sure your server/PHP settings allow HTTP requests to external resources (“allow_url_fopen”, etc.)”

Also check with your hosting (if you use any).

I have enabled allow_url_fopen and changing PHP version of the hosting settings, but no avail.
Do you have any idea on how to clear this one?

I just tested my plugin — works fine.

I must turn off “Insert Math” and turn on “WP QuickLatex”.
    They conflict.

As for ISP, get to a shell and enter: ping <foo> .
Where <foo> is the IP adress of the target machine.
