Hi! Thanks for getting in touch. I tried to reproduce the issue locally, but didn’t have any trouble.

Were you able to connect a Twitter or Facebook profile? Did you try with a different Pinterest profile? If you could please contact us via email (customers at nelio software dot com).

    Hi David,

the error is coming instantly when I click on the pinterest button. So there is not chance I could try to use “another account” because it is not dependant on an account.

When I click on all other icons (SM) there is not such an error. I conncted e.g. to Twitter and it works like it should.

Hi! Thanks for the explanation. I gave it a second try and now the issue is happening to me too (even though I didn’t change anything in our plugin). It looks like a Pinterest error (maybe it’s random?). I’ll investigate it further and let you know what I find…

In the meantime, please make sure (a) you’re already logged in Pinterest and (b) the account you’re using has been properly set up in Pinterest (that is, the email address has been validated and so on).

Confirmed: after a while, things worked properly again. Apparently, it’s a random issue with Pinterest’s authentication API—there’s nothing we can do from our end.
