I’m trying to connect to Facebook, but when I go through the connection process, I end up being redirected back to my website, and the page I’m redirected back to is all white with a -1 in the upper left corner.

    Step 1

    Step 2

    Step 3

    Step 4

    Step 5

    Step 6

Step 7 (after I clicked “Done”)

Step 8 (after I clicked the “Redirect Me”)

The URL at this -1 page is:

    https://wildalaskasalmonandseafood.com/
    ?wc-api=wc_facebook_connect
    &external_business_id=wildalaskasalmonampseafood-6609bb9a5f795
    &nonce=8fpb85zb48
    &type=standard
    &system_user_id=122777480907779472
    &system_user_access_token=[long string of characters]
    &merchant_access_token=[long string of characters]

After all this, which I’ve done multiple times, the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin is not connected. All of the tabs in the configuration interface show the link to connect.

    Hi @skunkbad

From your explanation, it looks like the plugin cannot finalize the connection to Facebook. This could be due to various reasons, including a temporary glitch, an issue with your Facebook account, or a conflict with another plugin on your website.

Here are a few steps you can try:

    1. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try the connection process again.
    2. Check if there are any updates available for the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin and update if necessary.
    3. Temporarily deactivate all other plugins on your website and try connecting again. If the connection is successful, reactivate your plugins one by one to identify if there’s a conflicting plugin.
    4. Check your Facebook account to ensure it is in good standing, and there are no restrictions on it.

If you’re still experiencing issues after trying these steps, please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report with us. You’ll find it at the top of the page under WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support (after you scroll down a bit).

You could copy and paste your reply or share it via https://pastebin.com/ and send the link here. This will help us investigate further and provide you with a more accurate solution.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

So, after looking in the code, the database, and the facebook account, and spending about an hour and a half trying to figure out what is wrong and why it wouldn’t connect, I go back to woocommerce and suddenly it shows that it’s connected. This makes me nervous about using the plugin. I’m open to using other plugins, but our experience so far is that we haven’t found one yet that is lightweight and easy.

    Hi there @skunkbad ??

I’m glad to hear that your WooCommerce site is successfully connected with your Facebook Business account, using Facebook for WooCommerce.

As my colleague responded earlier, finalizing the connection with Facebook could have been due to a number of reasons.

That said, do not allow this to shake your confidence while using the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin.

Feel free to reach out, if you need anything else, while utilizing it. We are happy to help. Thank you.
