Cannot connect to Eventbrite

I have a multisite with approx 100 sites that I have been using a different plugin successfully for 3 years (Eventbrite Pro) unfortunately the developer stopped working on it 4 years ago and yesterday we found that the api was no longer working.

I thought the easiest thing to do might be to swap out the plugin with your plugin/keyring. (although changing out 100 sites does not sound appealing!)

I am trying to test out your plugin and I am not able to connect to Eventbrite. I get the message “The application you’re trying to use has made an invalid request to Eventbrite. Please contact the application developer.”

Reading through the forums, I came across a similar problem where you said to make sure the host URL and redirect URI was identical. Since this site was domain mapped, I then noticed that the redirect URI was using the original subdomain URL, so I changed them to both match as the original subdomain. The original subdomain auto redirects to the mapped domain so I thought that would work but still I get the same “invalid request”.

What else can I try. The key that had been used for the original plugin “Eventbrite Pro” has been deleted so there is only one key in the account to connect to.

Also, assuming that we will be able to get past this issue. I noticed that there is not an Eventbrite template showing in my page template selector. I am using a child theme; do I need to copy these templates from the plugin to the child theme? Please advise.
