I’m trying to connect https://revpr.co.uk to my Wordfence Central account but I’m getting this error:

“This site is managed by a different user account, can not add this site to your account.”

After working through the troubleshooting tools and following the steps to clear any existing connection, I’m still not having any success with connecting the site. I keep getting the same error message.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I’ve not had an issue like this on any of my sites previously. This one is hosted in the same place as those ones.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi

I have released the site from the previous account so you can add it in yours. However, I did see a connection error listed so you may have issues adding it.

The first error I saw said it couldn’t find the route to the REST API but it might have been old. When I tried again I got this error:
We received a non-200 HTTP code when connecting to your site: 401.

When I check the connection with our tools here it looks like it is seeing the site and can make the connection. Can you try adding it in Wordfence Central and see if it works for you now?

Hi Tim, that’s done the trick and I’ve been able to add it now. Thanks very much for your help!
