Jeremy I added these comments under someone else’s open forum for Jetpack, but this seems to be a big issue. I was having connection errors with all social media and could not establish any connection. Thus I followed your suggestion and disconnected jetpack from word press and then tried to reconnect and am getting this error:

Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.
    Couldn’t resolve host ‘jetpack.wordpress.com’

    Please help ASAP!

I just discovered that GoDaddy is currently doing a major flushing cache and has caused the www part of my site to not be up and working temporarily. So if I type in https://www.thetwelfthstep.com I get an error right now even getting to my site. Would this cause me to not have connection to Jetpack?

I did restore my site back to yesterday when everything was working fine, but i’m still getting an error even looking at something like Jetpack Site Stats and it’s error is :

unknown_token: It looks like your Jetpack connection is broken. Try disconnecting from WordPress.com then reconnecting.

Over on the sharing part I get these errors:

Jetpack: [auth_failed] Authorization header was malformed.

I’m hoping this is all just due to my site currently being down. Any help would be greatly appreciated… ??

Well my site finally came back up. I had to disconnect Jetpack and reconnect. But I also had to deactivate the comments area and reactivate to work which was strange. I’m going to leave this opened for one day just to make sure everything is back up ok? I’m sorry about all this Jeremy.

I’ll paste my comments from the other thread here, for reference:

when this is reconnected, do I have to reestablish all my users that were subscribed

No, your settings will be back as soon as you reconnect.

But I also had to deactivate the comments area and reactivate to work which was strange.

That seems like a weird issue indeed. Do not hesitate to start your own thread if this happens again!

I’m very new to both wordpress and all that stuff, sorry for if I’m asking something wrong.

WordPress.com ?u anda sorun ya??yor ve Jetpack’inizi destekleyemiyor. Lütfen daha sonra tekrar deneyin.

This is what I get when I click “connect to wordpress” link.

    What Can I do?

    Thanks in advance

@cilek Dergi Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!
