    Jetpack has been working fine until a few days ago when I switched themes.

    I now get a message to connect to jetpack, I click on the link and it appears to connect as I get this at Worpress:

    Completing connection
    Jetpack is finishing up the connection process

    I then click on Return to your Site

    But I still see the Connect jetpack message.

    I have contacted support but got no response. Can anyone help pease?

    Could you try to connect a few more times, and see if you can eventually get through the connection process?

    I had this same problem and found this post. I then remembered that my browser (Firefox) uses both a flash blocker and uBlock to automatically block elements on sites, and so turning it off once I landed on WordPress.com and reloading the page made Jetpack connect successfully.

    I actually ran into this problem again on another site and disabling the flash blocker and uBlock did not work. I finally figured out that there was a conflict with either WordFence security plugin, or with WP Super Cache. I disabled both of those plugins, activated Jetpack, and then it was able to connect with site stats.
