Hi, when trying create a user connexion from /wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack#/connect-user I’m getting an infinite loading spinner. My browser console reports a 403 Forbidden error response on /wp-json/jetpack/v4/connection/authorize_url?no_iframe=1&redirect_uri=admin.php%3Fpage%3Djetpack&_cacheBuster=1710275028574

I’ve disabled ModSecurity to make sure, the error remains.

What could be blocking the request?

    Hello @ravanh,

Usually 403 errors are related to blocks happening on the server’s end.

I’d suggest the usual IPs allow listing, and to check if you have any security plugins activated that might be blocking the requests coming from our servers.

If not, try contacting your hosting provider and asking them to check their security logs to see if they are blocking or otherwise limiting incoming and outgoing connections.

Let me know how you get on.

    Hey @ravanh,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

Hi @erania-pinnera sorry for not responding. After much testing it turned out to be an option on our host to block malevolent requests for non-existent .php files, triggered by the admin.php in the URL there.

    Thanks for your help!
