The error message gives clear description of the issue and provides link for further information.

Most probably PHP settings on your server were changed recently to disable communication with external servers. This usually happens on cheap shared hosting plans.

I read the link and it doesn’t help me. I contacted to the hosting company about this problem, and it seems there is no problem in server.
Is there any probability that the quicklatex server block my homepage?
    my server IP is 115.68.95.118

For the test, I reinstalled the WP quicklatex plug-in, and the previous posts also make the same problem now.

This IP is not blocked. I think this related to server configuration, since plugin has been working fine on thousands of websites for many years.

You can check PHP configuration of your server with phpinfo function:

Have you installed any security-related plugins recently?
They might prevent connection to external server.

I also agree that this plugin is not the problem. I’ve used it so far without any problem and I have another webpage in different server which is fine with it.
Could you find some problem in the following link?

    https://jinyeongpark.com/phpinfo.php

I will tell the hosting company about the problem according to your advice.
I didn’t add plugins recently. and I tested it by deactivating all other plugins but it doesn’t make any differences.

My hosting company changed ‘allow_url_fopen’ to on, but the problem is not solved.
I just decide to switch plugin that does not make problem. Thanks.

    Dear Jinyeong,

QL provides advanced features compared to other plugins, and it requires connection to external server in order to have such functionality. Many hosting companies disable communication with external servers, and this is something independent from us.

In other words QL doesn’t “make problems” but rather hosting company does.

In any case, I am glad you solved the issue.
