Cannot clear image after being set

Hi. Thank you for a great plugin and support.

I find that once you set an “Event Image”, you cannot put it back to “null/empty”. I can change the image and it takes effect, but if I completely delete the link content and update the event, it keeps the link in the database and also on the displayed event, not showing the Gmaps instead as intended.

I could dig in the code, but I’d prefer to have a take on this before doing so.
