    Hey there,

I cannot complete Step 2 by claiming my website. Sometimes it will just time out and blank out the page, sometimes it will give me one of these errors:

    • cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 out of 0 bytes received
    • There was an error getting the account data.

I’ve also seen a message that told me to reconnect Pinterest.

Steps to attempt to remedy: I have dried disconnecting and reconnecting Pinterest. I’ve disabled plugins, and cleared out my cache. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin as well.

I already have the site claimed on my Pinterest account which I’ve confirmed in my Pinterest Business Manager, so I’m not sure what the issue is here. Please let me know what I can do, I just need to get to step 3 so I can track conversions.

Tried again today, followed many steps to start over.

Now every time I try to verify the page it refreshes the screen to this link and whites out the page:

    https://www.chilesandsmoke.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-admin&path=%2Fpinterest%2Fonboarding&step=claim-website

The page becomes inactive and stays there. If I refresh, it has me click the Verify button again, and repeats back to a white page.

    Hi @chilesandsmoke,

Please try doing a?conflict test?on a staging site to check if the issue is related to a plugin conflict or even a theme conflict.

Once you’ve tried the steps and the issue persists, please reach out, so that we can provide further troubleshooting steps.

    Happy to help.

Tested on my staging site, same errors.

Is it because I’m already claimed on Pinterest? My website has been claimed on there and their support said that WooCommerce is already linked. I completed this awhile ago ON Pinterest, not through your app.

It’s the app that isn’t allowing me to proceed to connect my products to Pinterest. Do you recommend I disconnect on Pinterest, and try everything from scratch through the app?

    Hello again @chilesandsmoke,

Thank you for getting back to us and performing the troubleshooting steps as advised. I understand the issue still persists, even on your staging site. Based on the information provided and your experience, it seems the problem could be related to your site being already claimed through Pinterest rather than through our WooCommerce Pinterest integration.

Here’s what I suggest you do:

    1. Please disconnect your site from Pinterest by going to your Pinterest Business account and removing the link to your site.
    2. Once you’ve disconnected it, clear your browser cache and cookies to ensure that any previous data does not interfere.
    3. Make sure that you have the latest version of the WooCommerce Pinterest plugin installed on your site.
    4. Now, using our app, try connecting your products to Pinterest from scratch, and follow the onboarding steps.

Hopefully, disconnecting your site from Pinterest and reconnecting it via our app will resolve the issue, allowing you to move forward and track conversions as intended. In case the problem continues, please don’t hesitate to reach back out to us, and we’ll make sure to assist you further.

Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, and thank you for your cooperation throughout the troubleshooting process. We appreciate your patience and are here to help.

Thanks – this process did work.

Initially it was still going to a blank screen on Step 2. I had to refresh the screen about 4 times as it was just timed out. Eventually it refreshed and showed that it’s Verified.

Appreciate you staying with me through this.
