Cannot change user role

    Hello,

    I want to deactivate the plugin as I don’t really need it but as an admin I cannot change user roles the normal way from the edit user page anymore.

    Only if I activate the plugin and from the users list, click “capabilites” under the user’s name and then I can change his role through the settings of this plugin.

    Why does this happen? I don’t understand. Any advise?
