Cannot change permalinks settings

  • Hey,
    I cannot change the permalinks settings, so my blog posts does not include date or the title, just some random numbers (instead of xxx.com/blog/title I have xxx.com/?p434). If I change the default one, all other options give me an error 404.

    What should I do?
