• In using one particular SSL plugin, a site I tend shows the logo as NOT having the necessary HTTPS in the URL.

    Tried the following:
1.) Go to your Media Library
    2.) Find the Image
    3.) Click Edit
4.) Locate the Permalink under the Title (BUT this option is no longer available)
    5.) Click Edit
    6.) Change the Permalink
    7.) Click Update

So… deleting and re-uploading did not work to resolve this issue either.

    Please advise?

    Thank you in advance,
    Trish

  • Hello.
Under “Settings-Media” I had “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” checked, so all my images have that in the url. I turned the setting off so that future images do not have that in url. But I want to edit the existing url of images to remove month and also rename it to include product name (right now url only includes sku).

There is no “edit” button beside the permalink. The Edit Media page – screen option didn’t have slug, then after trying various plugins and uninstalling them, I finally see the slug option. I modified the slug, hit update – the permalink shows the updated name, but when i try to access it, it automatically redirects me to my site home page. The File URL does not update and it works.
