Cannot change language when on a product page since last update (3.6.3)

When on a product page, changing the language via a switcher doesn’t work anymore. This is happening since the 3.6.3 update.
Edit: Seems like the “product permalink base” gets lost with the update. Clicking on the “String Translation” link next to the warning finds no strings. I’m using a custom permalink base btw.
