Cannot change author of a page?

  • Hi,

    I am using the classic editor. For one page created by myself, I want to change its author. However, after enabling the “Author” panel in screen options, I can see it. However, in the drop down list, there is one author available, that is myself. I cannot see the names of other authors. Why?

    However, for another page created by another admin, I can see two authors in the list, the other admin and myself. So I can change its author to me.

    I am the Administor of the WordPress site.

    Further study shows that I can change the post author, but not page author.
