Cannot cache with Cloudflare and site goes down

    Hi,

    I cannot cache with Cloudflare. When I click on the button “TEST CACHE” it shows the message “Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages.”
    Also my site goes down when I enable Cloudflare on their site.

    I read other posts on this forum and search on Google, but nothing works and I really would like to try this cache plugin because it seems very good.

    Hi,
    yes I see the plugin is active on your site but it seems Cloudflare is not working on your site. Have you enabled the Orange Proxy Cloud for your site’s A and CNAME records?
    It seems your Cloudflare is not properly managed and that is why you are unable to take advantage of Cloudflare.

    I will suggest you to take a look at these videos which will guide you on how to set up Cloudflare.

    Thanks, it almost worked but now I just receive “Error 502 Ray ID: 6a96eabcde3703ee 2021-11-05 14:54:22 UTC Bad gateway” errors
    I had to create a a Full (strict) SSL certificate following this tutorial (I had only a Full SSL before https://community.cloudflare.com/t/step-2-setting-up-ssl-with-cloudflare/94646

    All clouds are orange on the Cloudflare DNS panel. It’s frustrating.

    Well, if you do not have a proper signed SSL at the server level, then Full (Strict) is not recommended instead try selecting the Full mode. Also, 502 means that CF datacenter was not able to connect with your server.

    I have a cPanel AutoSSL certificate on my VPS site. Unfortunately I think that I will have too give up, this Cloudflare is giving me too much trouble.

    Anyway, many thanks for your quick help.
