Cannot browse themes to upload

  • I just installed wordpress and all looks fine, but I cannot add a theme from my wp admin panel. When I click on Themes, then add themes, then upload themes, nothing happens. I am expecting a browse button so that I can locate my theme which is on my hard drive, and upload it. I have done this before and never had a problem. Any suggestions?

  • Maybe you can try to

    1.with another browser
    2.clear your cache
    3.disable your plugins

    Thank you for your suggestions, but they are not working.

    1 – I already tried another browser, but had same issue.
    2 – Did not work
    3 – I just installed WP and have not loaded any plugins yet, but when I try to add plug ins I get an error 404, so plugins not working either.

    Any other suggestions?

    you have enough permission to make folder and files in theme folder of your hosting ?

    wp-content/themes

    Since it is a new install, you can try re installing WordPress

    Can you view plugins. It could be that your install cannot make a SSL connection to www.remarpro.com. My old host used to do that.

    Thanks! It is a good suggestions. It is the first thing I thought of. I’ve un-installed and re-installed about 8 times now. It happens every time.

    are you installing it manually or with an automatic installer? if automatic try manually
