  • Hello @gardenerdd,

As far as I see, you are using a cache plugin/system. So, each time you activate/deactivate/change the maintenance mode page, you also have to clear the cache.

    Hello,
I installed the plugin WP Maintenance Mode while I was designing the website. It was great. I have done with my website and removed the plugin. Somehow I still have “Title: Maintenance mode” on https://www.isitwp.com.
I believe it is hurting my presents on Google search. Please help me to remove it. I checked the WP dashboard for title setting, and the title on my site is fine. I removed the Maintenance file on cPanel as well. I not sure where it is picking up Maintenance mode. My site is https://www.dailycarecalls.com
    Please help!

@elenaladdtx Your website is not in maintenance mode anymore if you delete the plugin.

So, there are two possible reasons:

    • Maybe isitwp.com cached the old results -> Ask them to check why this is happening.
    • The cache plugin you’re using is (somehow) serving the old pages to the isitwp.com crawler -> I highly doubt this is happening, but you can try to clear the cache or even disable the plugin.

    1. I installed “W3 Total Cache” just yesterday, hoping it will remove all old cache. As Siteground tech support recommends. It is not. I contact Elementor pro support, they told me to remove cache from everywhere as well. If it does not help, contact the plugin developer.
    2. I have this problem since October 10, the day I removed the plugin and my site goes live, but the Maintenance title stack. (Usually, when I make changes on my other website, changes appear on “isitwp” as well. But not for this site.
    3. Is there any way you can check my site and tell me what is going on? I can’t find the answer. Or might be you can tell me who should I contact?
    My site is https://www.dailycarecalls.com
    Thank you.

@elenaladdtx You should ask isitwp.com why they display that title because the website seems to be working fine.
