    Hi!

I am trying to backup a website (linked above) and I realize it’s a “wordpress.com” site. Please hear me out. I am trying to migrate it into the new www.remarpro.com webspace but: I am not paying the monthly 40$ business plan anymore and now I am prevented from installing a backup plugin or accessing phpmyadmin there. Frankly, I’m out of ideas… I’ve written them an email, but they haven’t replied yet. There must be a way to backup/download the old website, so I can migrate it here, no? I am open to absolutely any suggestions and want to thank you in advance!

  • Hi @martin177,

Since in this forum, we try to solve issues related to just www.remarpro.com sites, I suggest you read this article while waiting for them to reply.

    Hi Martin,

Do you have enough webspace at your hostingaccount? Check your current space in a control panel.

You can always download and upload your website through FTP. But that means, delete the old setup and replace it with the new one. Check also the credentials from your new database (before you get error connecting database connection ?? )

Unexpectedly, I was given a website download link and now I have a tar.gz file… Thank you for your replies!
